| Meet Anna Maria Smiraglia |
Anna Maria Smiraglia lives in Rome but comes from a large Naples family. She is working on a series of books called "Culture Around the Table" (title copyrighted world wide) that look at how we are all affected by the moments in which we share food with our family, friends and colleagues while around a table
Her first book focuses on Naples and will include an in depth look at the culture of cooking and eating in Naples. The book is lavishly illustrated with photographs taken in and around the markets and houses of Naples.
It will be produced in two languages - English and the language of Naples. There will also be an accompanying DVD showing in detail how to prepare the dishes that are discussed in the book.
